GSIC High School Information:

1. Schedules for high school students will be available through Infinite Campus on August 26, 2024.  Due to a very tight schedule, no schedule changes will be made unless there is a mistake on your schedule that will adversely affect meeting your graduation requirements.  No electives will be changed unless you are scheduled in a course that you have already passed.
2. Freshman Orientation will be held on Monday, August 26 in the new high school building, scheduled as follows:
   1. 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. for students with the first letter of last names A-K.
   2. 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. for students with the first letter of last names L-Z.
3. New Family Orientation for students in grades 10-12 who are new to GSIC will be held Monday, August 26 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria barn.

Student Parking Information:

Parking Permit Applications can be found here. Students will complete the application and turn it in to the front office along with the following documents:

• Completed Student Driver Permit form
• Copy of State Issued Driver’s License (Learner’s Permits are not accepted)
• Copy of Auto Insurance Card (expired documents are not accepted)
• $25 parking permit fee (Cash, Money Order or Check)

NOTE: Incomplete packages WILL NOT be accepted.

Schedule for Parking Permit Requests:

• Tuesday, 9/3 and Wednesday, 9/4 – Senior Parking Permit Days – Seniors may turn in the completed packet to the front office. Underclassmen applications will not be accepted on these days.
• Thursday, 9/5 and Friday 9/6 – Underclassmen Parking Permit Days. Underclassmen may turn in the completed packet to the front office.
• Monday 9/9 – all students must park in their assigned parking space with their 2024-2025 parking placard visible through windshield.

Parking permits will be available throughout the school year as space is available.
