We are happy to announce that Mr. Johnny Smith, our representative from the Accreditation Commission made his third and final visit last month and will be recommending that GSIC receive FULL ACCREDITATION with quality in grades K-8. The high school will remain provisionally accredited until the fall of 2021 when the final visit for grades 9-12 will take place. Mr. Smith intends to recommend FULL ACCREDITATION with quality for the high school at that time and assures us that all earned credits are transferrable in the meantime.
Two representatives from the Georgia Accreditation Commission visited the school on April 24th, which was the second of three visits required to complete the Accreditation Process. We met or exceeded the criteria to be on schedule for full Accreditation with Quality by the spring of 2020. Our GAC consultant has assured us that all high school credits will be transferable. We have scheduled the third and final visit for January. Feel free to check out the following link for more details concerning accreditation:

Georgia School for Innovation and the Classics is happy to announce that we have successfully completed the first phase of the accreditation process. Our consultant from the Georgia Accrediting Commission made an on-site visit the last week of July and noted only a few standards that will need to be addressed before the third and final visit. We have met or exceeded the expectations for the majority of the criteria, and we anticipate meeting the remaining standards well in advance of the next visit. Our GAC representative assured us that all high school credits from this year and the years to follow will be transferable.
